Strategic Director

I am business development and marketing professional turned Human-Centred Experience Designer.

I sit at the intersection between business and tech building products and services with both users and the bottom line at the forefront of my mind.

I look after Acorn’s strategic direction and make sure young people get to learn and explore opportunities unavailable to them at school.

Founder & Chief Masterminder

I simply equip young people with the tools and opportunities to thrive and then watch the magic unfold.

I believe that if young people are inspired to create technology from an early age, they will be better equipped to face the constantly changing digital world we live in and contribute as creators of technology and change-makers to solve the most pressing local and global problems.

I would like to be remembered for my contribution to the reduction of youth unemployment in the UK and worldwide.

TESTIMONIALS

"There is no reason for girls not to thrive as creators of technology as well as

consumers of it. Practical training, competition and role models like those

brought to Acorn Aspirations will make a difference."

Jess Tyrell – Director, wearedotdotdot

"These events are a great opportunity to get women and girls excited about

tech. Digital skills are they key to many creative careers and by learning

about computing, young women can open up a range of opportunities."

Jacqueline de Rojas – President, techUK

"Very inspiring to see some of the girls confidently talking about APIs and

things they most likely didn't know about at all at the start of the

hackathon!"

Wendy Devolder – CEO, Skills Matter
